Parade of Roses Participant Selected!

Congratulations Alondra Luna Cruz on her winning design:

“Jackson Elementary is Out of this World”

Parade of Roses has been developed as a part of the Roses on Parade program.  It is the Pasadena Tournament of Roses hope that the students’ involvement will foster their unique artistic talents and encourage their creative artistic ideas.   This year’s Rose Parade theme is “Just Imagine!”

The Tournament of Roses provided Alondra  with a 12 inch sculpture to paint and decorate.  Alondra and her family will be honored at a special ceremony at Paseo Pasadena on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 11:00 a.m.  If Alondra’s rose is selected as a winner, Jackson Elementary could receive up to $500.00 to be donated to the classrooms.
