Astronomy Extravaganza!
Explore the wonders of science with FREE activities for the whole family!
The festival features:
- An inspiring talk and planetarium demonstration by a Caltech Senior Scientist
- Discovery Workshops for students on robotics in our science lab
- Lecture on mars featuring a replica of the mars land rover!
- Hands-on activities such as telescopes for planet viewing, food, and fun activities throughout the campus.

On display- a model of the mars land rover, a small wheeled robot and a 3d exhibit of the mars moon surface.
The Astronomy Extravaganza will be held
on December 1, 2011 at
and will feature many fun and interactive activities
to inspire the next generation of scientists and
engineers. The event will bring the community together
to celebrate and raise family awareness in science
and technology.
